Zeskanowałam obrazeczki z listu. Rozumiem, że nie są to dzieła wielkiej sztuki, tylko raczej akhem infantylne „kryśloki”, ale co tam, chciałam sobie zachować przed wysłaniem. A tu się okazuje, że skanowanie rysunków wcale dobrze nie wychodzi... więc chyba spróbuję jeszcze w domu sfotografować.
A latarnie i piaszczysto-trawiaste wydmy dalej często sobie w pamięci „przeglądam”, chociaż na tamte wspomnienia nałożyły się już nowe warstwy w jesiennych kolorach.
I have scanned the crayon drawings from the letter I wrote this week, but the scan is rather bad, I will try to photograph these pages at home and maybe the results will be better... Not that my doodles are any haute art, that would require immortalizing for future generations, but I just wanted to have a copy before parting with the letter.
I still review the lighthouses and the grassy dunes in my memory quite often… although those images have been already covered with all the colorful foliage impressions. Just can’t forget those unbelievable color combinations.

Poza tym nauczyłam się wczoraj nowego ściegu szydełkowego – dostałam ostatnio worek włóczek z przeznaczeniem na zwierzowe blankety, a wzór „granny square” zaczyna mi się powoli nudzić. Fakt, że jest dość bezmyślny, a w tych nowych zygzakach jednak trzeba uważać, ale ileż mozna w koło to samo :). Dobrze, że chociaż kolory włóczek się zmieniają.

I also learned a new crochet stitch yesterday – I got a whole bag of new yarn recently from donations for the pet blankets, and I’m getting a little bored with the granny square. On the one hand, it is a thoughtless pattern and just perfect for using up the smaller skeins, but then – how many thousands of the same movement can I survive? The chevrons require more thought, but bring in a pleasant challenge, too.
