Yesterday I received as many as four trade-related envelopes – I think it’s a record! First – there was the Front Door from Miriam from the Netherlands. I can’t get over how straight these embroidered lines are – like drawing along a ruler with a skinny black marker. But they are all threads.

Two cards from Anne from England – blue-green doodles which I think could be counted as a zentangle, and also the Showgirl collage. I didn’t even notice on atcsforall that there were all those golden details, so they were a nice surprise.

„Dress for the Evening’s Cocktails” from Heidi from Canada – this is what always tempts me: a collage from a magazine, but my results are usually rather lame. This is very nice, though, especially the little wire hanger.

A set of rinchies from Robin from Alabama – the first I’ve ever received. Maybe it’s the beginning of another small collection?

Finally – a card that I haven’t shown yet: Spring Birches from Val from Scotland. It reminds me how many moons ago, being a child, I planted a small, innocent birch tree in my parents’ yard; now it’s a humongous tree and it probably isn’t even done growing! One has to be careful what one is planting.
